There were some interesting Idaho advertising items that appeared on ebay recently. One of the most interesting I think was the whiskey jug from St. Maries, Idaho. It was a 1 gallon jug that said "The Oak/Wines & Liquors/St. Maries, Idaho". It was apparently made by Red Wing potteries and was in nice condition. I think G-Man and Mike were bidding on it but they both eventually dropped out. It sold for $2,111.00. Most Idaho advertising crockery is pretty rare and expensive. I would have loved to have it in my modest collection.

G-Man was the winning bidder on a nice lard tin from Boise, a "Twin Falls Hardware" oval whetstone from Twin Falls and a neat Victorian trade card from "Morey and Morey Drugs, Lewiston, Idaho Ter." He lost out on a nice Hutchinson embossed bottle from "Staley & Zweifel/Wallace, Idaho".

There were several Idaho token dies that showed up on ebay this month. Most of them were from the Salt Lake Stamp Co. I think two of them were dies of unknown tokens. Anyway, I ended up with a couple as well as G-Man, Dale and Richard Hansen. I’m not sure who ended up with the rest of them. It’s fun to have the die that produced a token you have.

I’m sure there were a lot of other neat finds that I skipped or that were acquired by other means. Let me know if you find something extra special that you wan to share the information on.
