The Li’l Loot’s amusement token pictured above was determined to be from Nampa according to John. It was in business in 1983.

The carwash token pictured above says, "Dirt/Harry’s/Carwash//No cash value/(Eagle Picture)/ No cash Value.". It is round, brass, and measures 25mm. I think this is the old style. Bill sent me this example. Apparently there is a new variety available that has been issued by the same business. It measures 28.5mm. If I understand things correctly the new variety just says Carwash/(counter stamped) "B"/(Pictorial of Model-T era auto)/small "HH"// Token/ No/ Cash/ Value; Round, Brass. Dan says they are available for $5.00 each, which is the price of a car wash.

Mike picked up a nice calendar plate on ebay. It was given out by "Johnson & Son/ Fruitland, Idaho". It was dated 1915 and it had the Panama Canal pictorial that you see on most 1915 calendar plates. I think this business also issued tokens if I remember correctly.

G-Man seemed to get most of the Idaho sterling souvenir spoons with etching on the bowl this month. Most of us who collect these like nice etched pictures in the bowl of the spoon along with the name of the building or scene and the town name. They all seemed to sell for reasonable price. G-Man also got an advertising cup from Wilder, Idaho.

Richard Hansen got a nice Blackfoot, Idaho pharmacy bottle from the Pioneer Drug Store.

There is a nice Wardner, Idaho Terr. bottle for sale on ebay but the starting price of $999.00 seems to be scaring everyone away.

Both G-Man and Mike picked up some nice Idaho advertising match covers on ebay.

A lot of us collect Idaho advertising "go withs" that relate to businesses that issued tokens or just Idaho advertising in general. It gets to be a little cost prohibitive if you branch out into to many different areas so most of us have to learn a little self discipline. All of us from time to time have to buy a token or "go withs" that we can’t live without or afford! You have to be good at rationalization to be a good collector.
